The Auto Travenar 28mm f/2.8 is a wide-angle M42-mount prime lens from the 1980s, often rebranded as Promaster or Focal. Its all-metal construction is solid and tactile, with smooth manual focus and aperture rings. However, optical performance is poor: very low sharpness, high chromatic aberration, low contrast, and wild color rendition.
