The Tamron AF 200-400mm F5.6 is a budget-friendly super-telephoto zoom suited for sports and wildlife photographers. Optically, it is sharp from 250-350mm but soft at 400mm f/5.6, improving by f/8, with noticeable chromatic aberrations at the long end.
