    Overview

    The Pentacon Electric MC 24mm f/2.8 is a compact, solidly built M42 lens with a wobbly aperture ring (MFlenses). Optically, it delivers very sharp images wide open with good contrast and well-controlled barrel distortion, but suffers from chromatic aberrations (easily correctable) and notable flare without a hood. It suits users who can accept flare issues and seek a rare, affordable ultra-wide for APS-C cameras.
