    The Cosina AF 100mm f/3.5 Macro is a budget macro lens offering good sharpness stopped down and decent results wide open. However, build quality is poor with cheap plastic and wobbly parts. Autofocus is very slow and noisy, and manual focus is stiff with a jumpy ring. It achieves 1:2 magnification, and 1:1 with an included adapter that softens images. Best suited for budget-conscious macro photographers who can work with manual focus and don't need fast AF.
