The Carl Zeiss Tele-Tessar 200mm f/4 C/Y is a compact, lightweight telephoto lens with good sharpness when stopped down, but it is not very sharp wide open, especially at longer distances (kosmoskatten). It suffers from noticeable chromatic aberration (Peire, kosmoskatten) and lacks the typical Zeiss '3D effect' (Peire). Build quality is solid with an in-built hood.
