Overview

The Tokina RMC 28mm f/2.8 is a compact manual-focus lens with solid build and smooth controls. Optically, it is very soft and glowy at f/2.8, becoming sharp by f/5.6 and excellent at f/8. It suffers from severe veiling flare and barrel distortion. The lens suits users who can stop down and shield stray light, but its poor wide-open performance and flare resistance limit its appeal for general use.
