    Overview

    The Quantaray AF 100-300mm f/4.5-6.7 LDO is a compact, lightweight telephoto zoom with solid build, though the front filter ring feels cheap. Optically, it can achieve sharp results when stopped down and with fast shutter speeds, but wide open and at 270-300mm it is soft and 'bloomy'. Autofocus is quick and confident via screw drive. It is not weather-sealed. Best suited for budget-conscious photographers in good light who are willing to post-process for sharpness.
