    Overview

    The Tokina AT-X 17 AF PRO 17 mm f/3.5 is a well-built, all-metal ultra-wide lens for full-frame, with stellar build quality and a smooth focus ring. Optically, it is sharp and contrasty across most of the frame but very soft in the far corners on full-frame. The AF motor is slow and noisy. It suits full-frame users seeking an affordable ultra-wide, but is not recommended for APS-C where a kit lens suffices.
