The MTO-11SA 1000mm f/10 is a Soviet-era Maksutov-Cassegrain mirror lens with all-metal construction and a sliding lens hood, praised for its robust build and smooth focusing mechanism. Optically, it is free from chromatism and coma, but multiple users report soft image quality, especially on the moon and planets, and lower contrast compared to alternatives like the C5.
