    The Industar-50 50mm f/3.5 is a compact Soviet pancake lens with a metal body and plastic controls, weighing just 99g. On full-frame digital, it suffers from severe flaring, vignetting, and soft corners, but center sharpness and micro-contrast are excellent. On APS-C or film cameras, the edge issues largely disappear, making it a capable street photography lens.
