Overview

The Tamron SP 350mm f/5.6 Adaptall-2 (model 06B) is a compact mirror lens with a built-in tripod collar and macro capability to 1:2.5 (eccl). Optically, it delivers very good image quality, better than other third-party mirror lenses and comparable to the Minolta AF 500/8 (eccl). However, depth of field is very shallow, making handheld focusing challenging, with many out-of-focus shots (e6filmuser). Build quality is adequate, though used copies may have bent hood threads (e6filmuser). It suits photographers who don't mind manual focus and want a lightweight telephoto with macro, but requires practice for consistent sharpness.
