    Overview

The Industar-69 28mm f/2.8 is a Soviet-era pancake lens originally for half-frame Chaika cameras. On APS-C, it acts as a ~37.5mm equivalent. Its optical performance is technically poor: heavy vignetting, corner softness, distortion, and flare. However, it produces a dreamy, analog character with glowing highlights and swirly bokeh. Build is tiny, all-metal, with smooth focus and a non-clicking aperture ring. It requires infinity modification for mirrorless. Best for Fuji shooters seeking a lo-fi, toy-camera aesthetic.
